Cristiano Ronaldo & Wayne Rooney exchange

REAL MADRID are ready to use Cristiano Ronaldo to lure Wayne Rooney to the Bernabeu.

SunSport had revealed yesterday how the Spanish giants have indentified the Manchester United striker as their No 1 target this summer and are ready to throw £150million at landing him.

Now they want to use his old United team-mate Ronaldo to help sell the club to his good friend.

Ronaldo joined Real last summer in a world record £80m move from United.

He has had a successful first season although the club are set to end up empty-handed.

Ronaldo knows Rooney could provide the spark needed to triumph domestically and in Europe.

They enjoyed a partnership which brought rich spoils to United including a League and European Cup double in 2008.

Real believe Ronaldo could help tempt Rooney to switch.

The Spanish giants will bid a world record £90m for the United striker while offering him a five-year deal worth £60m.

The £250,000-a-week deal matches the wages of Ronaldo at the Bernabeu.

Real have decided to make a move after going out of Europe in the first knockout round and now look set to miss out on La Liga title to Barcelona.

Real Madrid must buy Lionel Messi to stop Barcelona

Real Madrid was beaten again by Barcelona. We have to admit that Barca is a great team and the have great players;but Real Madrid have great players as well, than what makes the difference? Messi.
Real Madrid must transfer Lionel Messi and use him as a free attacing player. That will make Real Madrid better than Barcelona clearly.

Ronaldo believes to championship

Cristiano Ronaldo insists that the title is far from over - after all there are 7 games left to play! The online betting puts Barca as clear favourites though.

Ronaldo was philosophical after the defeat to Barcelona. "It's always better to win. We lost, but we still have another seven games to play and we must continue to fight because everything is possible.

"We knew it was very important for us to win tonight, but that's football for you. The team to score the first goal was going to win. We are to blame for their first strike. Barcelona took advantage of a mistake."
