Kaka: Real Madrid can win the treble this season

Kaka believes that the team can still win the Primera Division, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League this season.

Los Blancos are currently eight points behind Barcelona in the title race, and face the champions in the second Clasico meeting of the season next Saturday evening.

The two teams then confront each other in the domestic cup final and look set to meet in the semi-finals of the Champions League, and the Brazilian believes that they can emulate the Blaugrana's achievement from 2008-09 in this campaign.

"Of course Real Madrid can beat Barcelona,” he told Madrid’s official website. “We can win La Liga, the Copa and the Champions League, but first we need to focus on Tottenham [in the second leg of the quarter-final tie on Wednesday]."

Kaka scored twice from the penalty spot in the Merengues’ 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames on Saturday evening and is delighted to have played his part for the team.

"I need to work hard to enjoy football again,” enthused the 28-year-old. “The only problem was with my knee, which limited me from playing all out. I need to work hard down the home stretch of the season.

“I hope to have fun playing football. I feel like I owe it to Real Madrid and the fact that I haven't fulfilled expectations bothers me."

Kaka further expressed his indebtedness to coach Jose Mourinho, stating: "I am grateful to Mourinho for everything he has done to help me. I have no problem with him whatsoever. He is a great coach and he is helping me grow as a footballer."

Kaka has scored four goals and provided one assist in nine league matches for Madrid so far this season.

Chelsea interested in Kaka says Ancelotti

Ancelotti worked with the Brazilian at AC Milan and is open to the idea of signing him fromReal Madrid - who are now led by former Stamford Bridge manager Jose Mourinho.

The Italian told The People: "Kaka would do well for my cause and I speak to him on a regular basis. It would be a multi-million pound operation."

Meanwhile, Chelsea's latest signing Yossi Benayoun has singled out Rafael Benitez as the reason he left Liverpool for Stamford Bridge, accusing the Spaniard of trying to break him and treating him with a lack of respect.

Benayoun, who joined Chelsea for an undisclosed fee on July 2, blames Benitez - who has also left the club for Inter Milan - for his decision to leave Anfield.

He told the News of The World: "I made up my mind to leave a long time ago because of Benitez. He never treated me with the respect I deserved. If I played well, I never felt he gave me credit.

"When I scored, I still expected to be out of the team the next game. And when the fans wanted me to play, Benitez told me he couldn't understand why."

The 30-year-old continued: "There are many examples of him treating me badly. Last season, against Fulham and Lyon, the fans booed when I was subbed. They thought I was playing well but Benitez told me he was surprised they booed because I was not good enough.

"It was as if the fans' reaction worked against me. The situation got worse afterwards. He told me I was a better player as a substitute instead of starting in the team.

"I felt so unhappy but, out of respect to the club, I never spoke out. The players and the people at the top of the club knew how I felt.

"It is good for Liverpool he has gone, but it was too late for me."

Kaka: Gerard must join Real Madrid

BRAZIL ace Kaka insists Steven Gerrard MUST join Real Madrid to win the trophies he deserves as one of the world’s best players.

Kaka, 28, who is in South Africa as part of Carlos Dunga’s squad, has the highest regard for Liverpool and England skipper Gerro and said: “He would get into any team in the world.”

And he believes a role within Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid revolution would see him win the trophies he craves.

“He is one of the few players in the world that has the ability to be a Madrid player,” said playmaker Kaka.

Gerrard, 30, has yet to decide his future after Liverpool finished only seventh in the Premier League last season. With no manager appointed since Rafa Benitez’s departure, Kaka added: “I would urge him to join Madrid.

“If you never play for Madrid, then there will always be something missing.

“There is no greater achievement than wearing the white shirt of Madrid.

“His next contract will be his last big one – and that’s a big choice not just financially but about what you can win.”

Lionel Messi has the opportunity to add the FIFA World Player of the Year award to his Ballon D'or trophy which he picked up last week. In doing so, he would become the first Argentinian to win the FIFA prize.
